Nico, the manager, welcomed me in - I felt so cared for. He checked on me during my entire visit. I finally decided to sit at the bar, where Alejandro took over in providing an exquisite evening. He explained that the menu, while large, is representative of the size and diversity of Peru - mountains, jungle, water - and each have their own version of comfort food. Note: nice touch - bag holder gizmo next to the bar to hang your purse or other bags. And a live DJ - on a. Monday! I wanted an authentic Peruvian experience so Alejandro recommended a Pisco Sour to start. Dangerously delish... We consulted on to e menu - again, Alejandro introduced me to OG Peru! Started with papas - insanely good. Slices of cold potatoes with a lovely cream saunce with a hit of spice. Next ceviche - wow. Alejandro recommended the traditional ceviche with a little kick. Beautiful presentation, perfectly balanced Leche de Tigre and the sweet potato purée offsets the spice perfectly. The canary beans and thé roasted corn provide great texture contrasts. This is now the gold standard for ceviches! An absolute beautiful evening. I'll be back... ”

“ I brought me in some friends that were from out of town here since they had never tried Peruvian food, and I had been to the one in Aventura. Venue and ambiance: This place was nicely decorated and had really good music playing in the background that I think most would enjoy. The lighting is spot on so I think it's a great place for any occasion, birthday, date, business meeting, or just a normal meal. Both me and my friends were impressed by how nice it was inside. Food: I had ordered lomo saltado a lo pobre and my two friends had gotten two sushi rolls each. We are all foodies and they loved their roll, they said that they would definitely come back to try other things on the menu. The lomo saltado had so much flavor and was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy and the egg was a nice compliment to the dish. The service was great, the gentleman was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is in Miami Beach that is looking for great Peruvian food. ”

“ Banana chips & salsa - comes w/ your meal and is pretty good. The chips are the right amount of crispy, and the salsa the right amount of flavor. Ceviche el ganador - lives up to its reputation! Definitely the best ceviche I've had in my life. The sauce has great flavor, and the fish is so fresh. El arroz con pollo de mis recuerdos - the chicken was moist but bland, and the rice was bitter, so this was not my favorite dish, but this might just be an acquired taste (might not be bitter for others). Great combo of a dish though. Service - average service. Got seated and served pretty quickly. But they forgot our utensils. They didn't really interact with us enough to give a better rating. Ambiance - very nice looking place. ”

“ It was a quiet evening so we chose to go out for dinner, just down the street to Lincoln Rd for Peruvian. Our choice was to sit outside because in music inside was too loud for my comfort. We were seated on the curb side and the only problem was when a car next to us turned on and ran its motor - luckily not for too long. Our daughter ordered the Mi Favorito y Lo Dice Don Juan, a nice piece of breaded beef (almost like chicken fried steak) served with green pasta, a fried egg, and a sauce. My husband and I shared the whole snapper/pargo. It came with a good serving of rice, some fried yucca, and a sauce. Both portions were huge. We brought some of the steak and pasta home. On the other hand, my husband and I ate the tasty, well cooked fish down to the bones. Delicious. Our waitress was good, however, with each dish she pushed a little too hard for us to order the more expensive versions. We stuck to what we wanted. If you decide to sit outside make sure to go inside to see the artsy decorating touches and artwork. As good as the food. ”

There are so many food options to choose from. We ordered the ceviche sampler and i got the pescado a lo macho. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and portion sizes were very big. The indoor decorations are dope! And the ceviche and lomo saltado are so delicious! The service is okay, but the food and ambience definitely make up for that area. “ We've been coming to CVI.CHE 105 since there was only the Downtown location, and we've been visiting the South Beach outpost since it opened. The recent refresh of the decor makes this one quite lovely. The food is always really, really good - something we crave when we're away and always the first thing we want to have when we return to Miami Beach. The service . . . well, it can be a little uneven: the servers and bussers themselves are complete pros, but I'm not sure management is especially great at dealing with the chaos of the denizens of Miami Beach . . . this time a hostess seated us at a table that had just been vacated by some guests who had decided to re-seat themselves at a different table after ordering from ours and . . . well, the result was we were completely ignored by a restaurant full of bustling servers and bussers for a long time (we didn't get WATER for twenty minutes after we were seated with our menus, let alone anyone asking about drinks or food). Now, okay - no one had been assigned to us (I wound up just jumping up and corralling a waiter, and he made sure everything went smoothly from then on), but this isn't the only time we've had this sort of service issue. So, I can handle it for the great food at great prices . . . I can't say it's always a five-star experience. But the food is fantastic and a fantastic value. Drinks are on the pricy side. I can't think about the food without my mouth watering, though. ”

“ This review is for dinner. I live in New York, but always make it a point to try to dine here when I visit. Food is flavorful, portions are generous, & ambiance and service are great. Ambiance: I don't come frequently, but the last time I was there they had completely remodeled. Ambiance used to be a lot more casual (which I preferred), but now the decor is much trendier. Music is loud, decor is kind of over the top, and I think there were LED lights on the walls. It's not upscale though and not sceney (I came in a simple summer dress and flat sandals and felt fine. Some people were even more casually dressed. And there were families with young kids here.) This would be a fun birthday spot. Food: the entree portions are huge and could probably be split in 2. I get the same thing every time: -Tetra de Ceviches: great to share. If you like ceviche, this is a great option because you get to sample 4 different kinds. I always do the all fish option (and the fish option that is the freshest, not frozen. Can't remember what it's called). The ceviche here is perfection: fresh, tangy, zesty, and flavorful. -Risotto Y Lomo Saltado: savory and filling. The steak is tender and soft. And I love the cheesy rice. ”
